Bio:
Cory Dixon is a Microsoft Enterprise Architect with over 13 years of application development, design, and development on the Microsoft platform. Spanning everything from VB5, SQL, Biztalk, .Net, and SharePoint, Cory has designed and built applications for industry and clients ranging from mid-size to Fortune 10 companies. Currently, Cory is focused on SharePoint 2007 applications, customizations, enterprise integration, and delivering value to the business aspects of SharePoint development.
Abstract:
Development Governance
While most SharePoint environments focus on Governance in the abstract, Information Governance, and even Operational Governance, the concept and need for Development Governance is often overlooked. We will examine “what” development governance addresses and the key topics and boundaries it should define and control.
